Our must-do archaeological tour!

An out-of-this-world cenote and the most impressive Mayan pyramids of Mexico in one tour!

Structure of the Tour

After picking you up at your hotel, we start the route to the first destination: Chichén Itzá, the sacred city of the Itza that will amaze you at every moment! Any time of the year is good to visit and admire its buildings, such as The Pyramid of Kukulkan or El Castillo. And if by any chance you are in the area on March 21 and September 21 you will be witness of the spring and fall equinoxes.

In this mass of quarry are reflected the astronomical, mathematical and engineering knowledge that the ancient Mayans possessed, as well as their artistic abilities. In addition to El Castillo, the monumental Ball Game, The Astronomical Observatory, The Church and The Nuns are other complexes worthy of admiration because they tell us about the cosmovision of this wonderful culture.

The next stop is Cenote Ik Kil, the place of the winds. This magnificent cenote formed from the impact of a meteorite and is part of a the largest network of cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula. Delight yourself in its refreshing waters and purify your body in the place where Chaac, the god of rain, lived or, just admire the numerous lianas that hang from the jungle above. When you finish cooling off at Ik Kil, we will eat something delicious in a restaurant nearby.

Finally, we will enter the ancient city of Coba, a Mayan treasure hidden in the jungle. Here you will walk among numerous monuments and roads, which once communicated with other Mayan cities. You will climb the highest pyramid on the peninsula and at the top you will be able to appreciate the extensive greenery of the jungle that surrounds it, a landscape worthy of a postcard. To move around the site, you can rent tricycles or bicycles for a better experience.
