Sian Ka'an Natural Reserve

Nature at its best!

Sian Ka'an is a biosphere reserve that became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It is a sublime area of natural beauty home to thousands of species of flora and fauna.  This tour gives you access to coastal wetlands and shimmering lagoons, where you will find spectacular wildlife!

Structure of the Tour

We will go deep into the Sian Ka’an Reserve through 25km of dirt roads until we get to the boats in Paso Lagartos where we’ll start our marine safari. Before that, we make a stop at the Boca Paila Bridge where the lagoon and the Caribbean Sea meet. Here we can see local species of crocodiles.

In Paso Lagartos our 3 hour boat adventure begins to locate dolphins, sea turtles, different species of birds and if nature allows us, the manatees in their wild environment. After this contact with nature you will practice snorkel (if sea conditions allow us).

After snorkeling we finish the activities in the natural pool-like waters of Punta Allen. A true Caribbean paradise, where you will enjoy the best dip of your holiday in this turquoise blue waters.

We will finish having dinner in the village of Punta Allen where a large buffet awaits for you. After lunch, you will enjoy some time off to walk around the town, then board the boat back to our vehicle and head to the base of Tulum and back to the hotels.
